Education Credits: We have applied to CAMPEP for approval of 6 MPCEC hours and to MDCB for 6.5 credit hours for dosimetrists.

Social Event: There will be a social event at DoubleTree hotel at the conclusion of the meeting.

Hotel Information: Discounted rooms are available through the DoubleTree. Online reservations can be made here. You can also and call to make your reservation (503-281-6111). Please refer to the group code APM to get the discounted rate. The discounted rate runs until April 11th.

General Meeting Learning Objectives

  • Review clinical applications of frameless, linac based SRS treatments, auto beam hold imaging for prostate SBRT, and Medical Physics Practice Guideline 8a
  • Understand the emerging role of big data analytics in clinical practice
  • Gain insight into preparing for and participating in a regulatory audit
  • Review techniques to communicate the significance of your research to the general public
  • A Young Investigators Symposium will give medical physicist residents and students an opportunity to present their research.
  • A MedPhys Slam will challenge residents and students to present their work in a fast, fun competition. The winner will go on to compete in the national Slam competition.
